Main tasks of the sector
- Carrying out work on the preparation of documents for the appointment (recalculation) of pensions and benefits for pensioners from among military servicemen and members of the ranks and senior ranks of internal affairs bodies and members of their families.
- Within the delegated powers of implementing measures for the realization of the rights and guarantees of combatants, participants in the war, persons with disabilities, members of the families of dead (deceased) workers, persons who defended the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, who took direct action participation in the operation of of the United Forces, participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl NPP, veterans of internal affairs bodies.
Functions of the sector
- Ensuring record keeping of pensioners of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including by maintaining a unified automated system. Acceptance of applications and documents for pension assignment (recalculation) from persons who have acquired the right to a pension in accordance with the law.
- Reception of applications and documents for pension assignment (recalculation) from persons who have acquired the right to a pension in accordance with the legislation.
- Verification of the correctness of the registration of the submitted documents for the appointment of a pension, the correspondence of the personal information contained in them with the data of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine and other documents.
- Preparation of documents for assigning pensions and calculating pensions.
- Acceptance of applications and documents that give the right to receive a certificate of a participant in combat operations, breast insignia. "Veteran of the war" - a participant in hostilities), forms of letters of vouchers for the right to receive travel documents (tickets) with a 50% discount on their cost and for reimbursement to veterans of the bodies of internal affairs for expenses related to travel for treatment and rest in medical rehabilitation centers Ministry of Internal Affairs, sanatoriums and rest houses.
- Acceptance of applications and documents that give the right to receive a certificate "Veteran of internal affairs bodies" and a badge in accordance with the legislation.
- Acceptance of applications and documents for family members of deceased veterans of internal affairs bodies to receive certificates of entitlement to benefits in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On the status of veterans of military service, veterans of internal affairs bodies, veterans of the National Police and some other persons and their social protection".
- Forwarding to the authorized structural subdivision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of materials regarding the appointment (recalculation) of pensions, receiving benefits, certificates, etc..
- Preparation of documents for the bodies of the Fund for the Social Protection of the Disabled for the payment of compensation for unused tickets to persons with disabilities as a result of the war.
- Issuance of issued "Participant of hostilities" certificates, "Veteran of internal affairs bodies", badges, letters of coupons to persons who have been granted the appropriate status.
- Consideration of appeals, statements and complaints on issues of pension and social security of persons released from the Social Security Administration and members of their families, as well as other correspondence on issues that belong to the competence of the Sector.
