The event was held today, February 7, 2024, at the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Volyn region. The seminar-meeting was attended by psychologists from the Main Directorate of the National Police in Volyn Region, the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Volyn, the Department of the Security Police in Volyn Region, the staff of the Center for Psychiatric Care and Professional Psychophysiological Selection of the TMO "TMO of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Volyn Region".

The purpose of the meeting was to establish cooperation between psychologists of the structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and to work out various methods for providing psychological assistance to the affected population. As part of the implementation of the project "Point of psychological practices" and "How are you?" psychologists studied and worked out the main protocols for providing psychological first aid to the injured population, the peculiarities of communicating with people in different emotional states, and the sequence of joint work at the scene of an emergency.

Psychologists discussed various aspects of their activities and shared their practical experience in providing psychological assistance to people in various emergency situations.
